Hair Crowns – I absolutely love them! This image was from a Midsummer themed wedding at the Roslin Beach Hotel where Simply Stunning Flowers provided a 'Make your own flower crown' table... all of the guests loved it and really embraced the day and wore their crowns with pride. I think they are such a statement piece for the bride and can fit within every wedding.
This bride was inspired by Queen Charlotte, the prequel to the beloved Netflix series Bridgerton, and requested her hairstylist to mimic the regal look displayed on the big screen. The styled shoot of the wedding available to view in this issue, captures the glowing bride's princess springtime look, with a stunning shot showing off her long dress train. The venue, Parklands, Quendon Hall, was dressed with rustic brown tones seen in the floral arrangements, accessories and detailed styling. The vision of shoot organiser, Lisa Curtis from Gemini Styling, was to inspire brides by the transition from summer through to autumn. The loose, cascading half-up hairstyle represented the fall of autumnal leaves embellished with golden accessories. The shoot is featured in full in our May/June issue available now to read online for FREE

Wedding photographer Laura and Wedding band guitarist Elliott Thornhill have witnessed their fair share of wedding days. Now it was their turn... Laura tells us, “It was tricky at first because on one hand I wanted a venue I hadn't shot at before so it felt new and special to us but on the other hand, I also wanted a venue I had tried and tested! Greenwoods ticked all the boxes as I'd shot there a few times so had encountered their lovely staff and sampled their amazing food but I'd only shot in their smaller suites which meant their larger Garden Suite felt brand new to me. Being a winter wedding, we loved the warm and cozy feeling throughout, the mix of old and modern and everything being in one place. We opted for a Christmassy menu and had baked Camembert for starters, a turkey roast for main and sticky toffee pudding for dessert.” This stunning wedding is featured in full in our May/June issue available now to read online for FREE

Hedingham Castle is set within 160 acres of stunning Essex countryside including the beautifully restored gardens in the immediate area below the Castle – the perfect backdrop for wedding photography. Our favourite spot is the lake, with the Castle behind, or in between the huge Wellingtonia trees at the bottom of the formal pond. The history of Hedingham spans almost a millennium, with the Castle almost 900 years old. Its imposing Norman architecture is iconic and the Castle is a landmark in its own right and can be seen for miles around, standing at over 70ft tall. The majestic castle is arguably the best preserved Norman Keep of its kind in the country, both inside and out.
