PANDORA LAUNCHES NEW CHARM IN SUPPORT OF UNICEF

When two powerhouses combine, we end up with something remarkable – Pandora's collaboration with UNICEF is exactly that.

Pandora, is one of the world's largest jewellery companies, employing over 37,000 people, they have the power to make change. By crafting jewellery with high-quality material, recycled silver and gold, and allowing people to express themselves through meaningful jewellery, it makes sense that they would come together with an important charity like UNICEF.

UNICEF (the United Nations agency for children) works tirelessly to protect the rights of children everywhere, but more specifically, disadvantaged children in hard-to-reach places. Their influence stretches across 190 countries and with the help from Pandora, can obtain beneficial support to their important fight.

The collaboration features a special edition, heart-shaped silver charm with a blue centre-stone – UNICEF's signature colour. The launch highlights Pandora's ongoing partnership with UNICEF, which has raised nearly $14 million over the past 5 years to support children and young people worldwide.

Susanne Dahl, Executive Director at UNICEF Denmark comments: "This Pandora for UNICEF charm is just one representation of the warm hearts behind our unique relationship that provides young people, especially girls, with a quality education."

"Children are at the heart of our mission—they are the foundation of the future. When you get learning and education right, you create lasting change in society. Supporting girls' education, in particular, transforms communities, countries, and the world. It empowers girls to earn higher incomes, take part in key decisions, and shape better futures for themselves and their families." said Berta de Pablos-Barbier Chief Marketing Officer of Pandora.

The aim of this partnership is to support children and young people worldwide, with a keen focus on girls, through educational programmes that empower them. Pandora is working with UNICEF to equip young girls with key STEAM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) support, and life skills so that they can thrive in the workplace. Their initiatives are targeted in Vietnam, Thailand, and China; UNICEFS hope is to foster inclusive learning opportunities that prepare adolescents for the future.

Half of Pandora's contributions directly support the above educational programmes, while the other half are providing flexible funding for UNICEF, enabling them to urgently respond to needs worldwide.

The Pandora UNICEF charm is available online and in stores worldwide.
