Congratulations on your engagement, and now the decision-making begins. Amongst many, of course, is 'where shall we have our wedding ceremony and reception?' With over 100 couples a year deciding to have one or both at our fabulous Kings Oak, we have tremendous experience in organising the 'perfect day' for you and your partner.

Perfectly placed in the 'golden triangle' of West Essex, Hertfordshire and North East London, the Kings Oak has lain in the middle of Epping Forest since 1887. With a rich history, this building has served its guests with grandeur, and provides many memories for locals and visitors alike.

Beautifully restored by the present owner Linzi Pollard in 2009, The KO, as it is affectionately called, has won awards for the WOW factor and for simply being 'Something Different'.

Fortunate enough to still have a stunning, working 100ft Lido in the gardens, this gem of a venue provides a magnificent backdrop to any wedding ceremony.

The sophisticated Oak Lounge, with its rich colours, ornate ceilings and stunning chandeliers, provides a wonderfully romantic setting for any ceremony.

The beautiful King's Room and the chic Beach Club Marquee separately provide unique wedding event spaces. But combined, they become the Kings Suite, providing a very flexible and spacious party area. Perfect for Wedding Breakfasts and subsequent celebrations well into the night.

Transport links are excellent, with junction 26 of the M25 nearby and convenient rail connections for underground and overground services. We also have a large car park for you and your guests.
