We're wishing a big happy anniversary to East Mersea Hall, which is celebrating its first year of business under new ownership. With wedding restrictions in place for much of its first year, new owner Kirsty Lowry has overseen three years' worth of refurbishments in just 12 months – including to the grounds, lake, barn and ceremony spaces.

"There's been happy tears, relief and huge determination to bring this absolutely stunning venue back to life," Kirsty says. "All of our 2020 couples postponed, so we re-jigged our plans and spent the first year making the place shine ready for an extremely busy 2021 season."
