Green I dos: How to plan a sustainable wedding
The carbon footprint of a wedding in the UK is equivalent to driving a car around the world twice...
An Essex Wedding magazine recently chatted with newly qualified celebrant, Juliet Gee from Vows Everlasting
Juliet spent much of her life - some 26 years - as a foster carer, looking after many young children, people, mother and baby placements - some with very complex issues. Friendly and nurturing, becoming a celebrant seemed like the next step for Juliet and hence, her company Vows Everlasting was set up.
She tells us, "I have always wanted to be a celebrant after seeing Cynthia Green, registrar/celebrant, back in 2014 on Married At First Sight. I love seeing people in love and to be asked to officiate their ceremony would be an honour."
Juliet is currently the host of a Saturday morning talk show on a community radio station from 8am-11am, called Supreme FM. Here, she talks to people that have a story to share about their personal life experiences or their professions and how they got there. This August, Juliet will be officiating her Welcome to Motherhood Ceremony, adding to her list of achievements.
