Festive Menus and Winters Escape offers at The White Hart Inn, Mersea Island
For a taste of seasonal, local and delicious food in a laidback setting this Christmas, The White Hart Inn on Mersea Island is offering a delicious new Festive Menu, available throughout December for lunch or dinner. In the Michelin rated and 1-Rosette restaurant, Head Chef Ed Campbell and his team have created dishes featuring ingredients coming into season and at their best for December.

There is still availability for a Festive Escape for Two between 2nd-30th December. An overnight B&B stay costs £245 for two sharing (£122.50 pp), including mulled wine & mince pies on arrival, dinner to the value of £90, a cracking breakfast and a surprise Christmas gift to take home to the value of £35. For stays on Saturdays, check out anytime up to 5pm (excluding 29th December).
Dinner on Us in January and February – £100 pp
Book before 31st December to receive Dinner & Wine on us in January & February. An overnight B&B stay costs £200 for two sharing a Double Room, including tea/coffee and chocolates on arrival, delicious dinner to the value of £75 (and £25 wine allowance until 31st December) and a cracking breakfast after a solid night's sleep. For Saturday stays & February 14th, add £50 per room.

About The White Hart Inn
Situated in the heart of peaceful West Mersea, just a few minutes' walk from the beach, contemporary pub-with-rooms The White Hart Inn opened in summer 2022 and offers a relaxing UK break seafood and oyster lovers, keen walkers, and fans of snug spaces over spas. There are six stylish rooms, including the top room 'Mehalah', offering a grand view to the sea. All feature super king-sized beds, contemporary local artwork, large modern en-suite bathrooms with huge walk-in showers, and are decorated with Sanderson and Zoffany luxury wallpaper and fabrics, and equipped with books and binoculars.
