Hedingham Castle unveils enchanting Twilight Weddings
Hedingham Castle, a distinguished 900-year-old Norman Keep nestled on the Essex-Suffolk border, has announced its latest offering: Twilight Weddings. This new package caters to couples seeking a relaxed and romantic evening ceremony, capturing the magic of dusk in a historic setting. The new Twilight Weddings format has been carefully designed for those who desire a less formal, more fluid celebration that seamlessly transitions from ceremony to drinks and dancing.

Ceremonies commence later in the day, around 5pm, allowing couples and their guests to enjoy the enchanting ambiance as day turns to night. This offering is available Monday to Thursday, from May to September, for a minimum of 80 guests.
Package Inclusions:
- Exclusive use of the venue, encompassing the Castle, Georgian House, Ballroom Marquee and expansive grounds
- Access to the venue from 12pm to 12am on the day of the wedding, with a suggested ceremony time of 5pm
- Use of the Garden Cottage for pre-wedding preparations and overnight accommodation for two
- Transportation from the Garden Cottage to the ceremony in a classic Mercedes
- Drinks and canapés for guests during the reception
- An informal Twilight Menu provided by one of the castle's approved caterers
- A sparkling toast drink
- A dedicated Wedding Coordinator for the duration of each booking
- An exclusive preferential rate for couples on the Royal Chamber, the one-of-a-kind bedroom located in the Castle, for the wedding night

A Venue Rich in History and Versatility
Beyond the new Twilight Weddings, Hedingham Castle offers a variety of wedding options to suit diverse preferences:
- Weddings with Ballroom Marquee Receptions: Host your ceremony within the majestic Norman Keep, followed by a drinks reception in the Georgian House and dinner and dancing in the Ballroom Marquee, accommodating up to 150 guests, with an additional 50 for the evening.
- Exclusive Castle Receptions: For smaller parties of up to 70 guests, couples can host their entire day within the walls of the historic Keep. Dining takes place in the elegant Tapestry Room, with drinks and dancing on the floor above, complete with its own Norman nightclub!
- Multi-Day Weddings: Extend your celebration over a few days, allowing for a more leisurely experience with family and friends. An ideal option for couples travelling from afar or overseas.
- Elopements: Intimate celebrations for just the two of you. Marry, dine and sleep in the 900-year-old Norman Keep for an incredibly romantic and memorable way to tie the knot.

Book Your Twilight Wedding
Couples interested in the Twilight Weddings package are encouraged to book a private viewing or attend one of the venue's upcoming Wedding Open Events. These events provide an opportunity to experience the venue's unique layout as well as meet suppliers. The next event is the Wedding Show Evening Soiree on Wednesday 11th June, 4.30-8.30pm.
